The story of Jennifer Hicks, known on stage as Glojin, began back in January 2007 when she first fell in love with electronic dance music and placed her hands on vinyl. Starting with dirty breakbeats before discovering her passion for house and ultimately trance, Glojin built a sound defined by energy, emotion, and precision.

Her unique style shows true to her roots and evolution through EDM, consisting primarily of tech trance, techy house, and progressive vibes, though her skill as a DJ is not limited to just those genres, as evidenced by several dirty electro sets she has done in her time.

Her sets flow effortlessly between tech trance, hard house, and tech-infused grooves, each performance a reflection of her evolution as an artist. From her early shows in Fayetteville to playing alongside legends such as Markus Schulz, Dieselboy, and Paul Oakenfold on the Insomniac Face Lift Tour, With a lot of determination and passion brought Jennifer great rewards. Landing a residency at one of Charlotte's hottest night club Kazba , she also opened for the well respected Sander van Doorn at the Phoenix night club, as well as Tritonal and other big named artist. She’s carved out a respected name across the global scene.

Now based back where it all began in Charlotte NC USA after spending many years in Norway, Glojin has brought her sound to dance floors across the continent — performing at Anomaly (Birmingham), Saturday Sessions (Sheffield), Monday Bar (Sweden), Trancenight alongside RAM in (Norway), RE:BIRTH (Glasgow), and Havana Club (Turkey). Her distinctive style and deep connection with her audience continue to earn her a loyal following wherever she plays.

In the studio, Glojin has showcased her creativity through original productions including “Covert Narcissist,” “Hi Hat Junkie,” “Try,” “Never Let Nothing,” and “Infiltrate My Mind” — tracks that blend drive, melody, and raw underground energy.

As her sound evolved, so did her artistic vision. Jennifer has now stepped into a darker, more industrial realm under her techno alias – Jinacid. This project captures the intensity and edge that define her as an artist, blending acid lines, hypnotic bass, and relentless rhythm into her signature sound.

Whether behind the decks as Glojin or Jinacid, Jennifer continues to push boundaries — delivering tracks and sets that speak directly to the crowd with passion, precision, and unmistakable heart.
