Karla is a 28-year-old multi-genre DJ from Galway, Ireland, quickly carving out a name for herself within Ireland’s underground dance music scene. With a deep-rooted connection to rave culture and a family background immersed in dance music, Karla’s journey into DJing felt less like a choice and more like a natural progression.

After spending over a decade in the rave scene, she began DJing almost two years ago, driven by a genuine passion for high-energy dance floors and forward-thinking sound. Since then, her rapid rise has seen her become a familiar and respected name across Ireland’s club and event circuit.

Karla has performed extensively across Ireland, playing in cities including Dublin, Galway, Limerick and beyond, and has supported a number of high-profile artists such as Ben Hemsley, Holy Priest, and KX CHR. She has also played for well-established collectives including Irish Social Raves, Reboot, WeAreCollective, among many others. Her sets are known for their energy, versatility, and ability to adapt to both intimate club environments and high-impact rave settings.

Alongside her solo career, Karla is a co-founder of KLIQ, a collective she runs with close friends, focused on creating diverse events that champion local Irish talent and foster community within the scene.

Musically, Karla enjoys exploring a wide range of genres, but her core sound sits firmly within hard techno and bounce/eurotrance. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Ki/Ki, Cloudy, Pegassi, and Funk Tribu, her sets blend driving rhythms, euphoric melodies, and rave-ready intensity, always keeping dance floors locked in from start to finish.

With momentum firmly on her side and a clear passion for the culture she represents, Karla continues to establish herself as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging DJs.
